What to expect at The Spark?
At The Spark, you'll be welcomed into a friendly, casual environment by people who are excited to see you. We want you to have an idea of what to expect when you arrive at a The Spark. All you have to do from here is come as you are and find out more for yourself!
At a weekend service you can expect:
- Each service to last from 11:00 am - 1:00
- Thought-provoking and engaging messages based on the Bible.
- Enthusiastic Teaching from Senior Pastor Aaron Boyd
- High-energy worship music.
- Fun teaching for your kids.

- A place just for kids. Each weekend The Spark Kids, newborns through 6th graders, learn the truth about who God is and who they are because of Him through age-specific lessons, small groups, and trusted adult leadership.
- Adult Small Groups, on Wednesday Nights at 6:30, for incredible connection, and fresh perspective of the Word of God, led by people JUST LIKE YOU. (meet in The “Red Room”)
- A night just for STUDENTS: Every Wednesday Is YOUTH NIGHT. We pull out ALL of the stops, and give total attention to the development and mentorship to youth, ages Pre-k to 12th Grade. They are our "small group" focused sessions, that start with a meal , then we offer powerful and age appropriate teaching, ending with skits, worship, and a chance to come closer to Jesus through powerful prayer connections!

1. Governance Structure
1.1 Church Leadership
- Senior Pastor: Provides spiritual oversight, leads worship services, and oversees all church activities.
- Elders/Pastors : Assist the Senior Pastor in spiritual and administrative duties, providing support and counsel.
- Church Board: Responsible for financial decisions, property management, and major administrative policies.
1.2 Committees and Teams
- Worship Team : Plans and coordinates worship services and special events.
- Spark Connect Team: Oversees Sunday School, Bible studies, and educational programs.
- Missions Team: Manages local and international mission efforts.
2. Operational Protocols
2.1 Worship Services
- Schedule:
Spark Connect Classes held on Sundays at 9:45 AM, and Service at 11:00am
Wednesdays at 6:15PM.
- Order of Service: Includes opening prayer, worship through song, praying for the sick,sermon, offering,children’s penny march( goes directly and entirely into the children’s ministry fund to provide for them events and teaching materials) and closing prayer.
- Communion: Observed every Sunday
⁃ Monday Morning at 10:00am we have Spark Chapel service. Which is an intimate and open worship and teaching time, led by Pastor Steve Pennington. A very diverse time of intimate sharing and fellowship in worship.

- Baptism: Conducted for new believers upon profession of faith and answering the call.
- Communion: Open to all believers; elements distributed by the usher team.
2.4 Financial Management
- Tithes and Offerings: Collected during worship services and online. Managed by the Treasurer/CFO (Riley Webb assisted by Sarah Webb)
- Financial Reporting: Monthly financial statements reviewed by the church board and made available to members.
2.5 Facility Use
- Scheduling: All church events must be scheduled through the “church facilities use” calendar overseer (Rachel Parker).
- Outside Use: Non-church events require approval by the church board and must align with the church’s values.

3.1 Prayer
⁃ we pray for the sick, in service, every single service. An invitation is extended to all, to come and pray with the elders of the church.
- Prayer Team: A network of members committed to praying for urgent needs.
3.2 Bible Study
- Weekly Bible Studies: Held on Wednesdays at 6:15 PM for various age groups.
- Discipleship Programs: Spark Connect, are Small groups focused on spiritual growth and accountability, meet at 9:45am on Sundays.
3.3 Evangelism
- Outreach Events: Regular community events to share the Gospel and serve local needs.
- Training Programs: Equipping members to effectively share their faith.
4. Community Engagement
4.1 Local Outreach
- Food Pantry: Operates every 4th Friday from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, providing food to those in need.
- Clothing Drives: we have an emergency clothes closet located in the Spark Ministries.
4.2 Global Missions
- Missionary Support: Financial and prayer support for missionaries.
- Short-term Mission Trips: Organized annually to support international ministries
